OMAIGOD YOU GUYS

A couple of weeks ago I performed in an all guy rendition of Legally Blonde the Musical with my fraternity Phi Kappa Tau for Chapman's Airbands 2009. All the proceeds from this event put on by Pikes and Gamma Phi Beta go to Camp Del Corazon, a non-profit organization, providing a free of charge summer camp for children with heart disease.

As you can see, this was the highlight of the night. It was probably the most embarrassing thing I've ever done, but people went crazy for it, and it all went to a great cause. I also got mobbed by girls when I want outside, which was a surprise seeing as I wore a cheerleading outfit. Below is our rendition and the real broadway performance. Compare and see which one you like the best! Oh God, I never knew my hips could do that.

FANMAIL!

Yesterday I received a really nice piece of fanmail. It really made my day. It said:

"Hey Guata! Just wanted to let you know that I'm a fellow geek paisano from Guatemala living and going to college in FL. and I just happened to bump into your youtube channel out of nothing. Congrats on the blog/shows and for giving Guatemala a better name, you are a role model for every Guatemalan out there, Keep it up! if you can please follow me on twitter @imjorge ^-^"

So thank you @imjorge, I really appreciate the well wishes. I'm going to get my act together and blog way more often like I used to, finish Orange to Orange (its really hard to do it), and hopefully have more fun stuff to share with you!

In this era of information overload, who has time watch find out what a movie is about? And you sure as hell don't want to shell out 12 bucks to go see a movie you thought was about something completely different. Well, now you'll never need to go to a film's official website, watch a trailer, or even read the back of a dvd box to find out what a movie is about with Mike Alfaro's Twitter Movie Plots! They take the concept of twitter's 140 characters or less descriptions and tell you in short what a movie is all about. Its a concept that can't possibly fail!

Here are just a few examples!
