I would use the postcards to promote my Karaoke/Paintball combo charity event for Guatemalans studying PR and Advertising at Chapman University, entitled "Singing Formerly Popular Songs and Shooting Guatemalans with Paint for Guatemalans studying Public Relations And/Or Advertising at Chapman University Orange Campus".
I'm still working on a postcard design, but know that I and Me are both very very excited about this blockbuster event.
I would use the postcards as promotional tools for acting. I would put my headshot and contact information on there and then mail it to agents and manager to seek representation.
I would use the postcards to wallpaper my kitchen with pictures of Mike Alfaro's head.
If I were to get the 200 Eco-frendly custom postcards for free, I would design them for a store in Flagstaff, Arizona called "Mayan Magic." Its in the process of being opened by a woman named Amita Welles, who specialized in guided healing and balancing all her life. She was then led to the making of her cacao bars, made with the rarest raw cacao beans from the Ecuadorean rainforests. She mixes these beans with 100% virgin coconut oil, agave, and some of the rarest and least heard of ingredients in the world, including ancient salt blocks and blue sea flakes. The purpose of these ingredients are for unadalturated connection with mother earth, for maximum healing benefits. She grinds the ingredients, using absolutly NO heat, in a very ritualistic setting, and makes molds of the most amazing 100% cacao bars, raw and untouched by processing and any harmful ingredients. She needs help in opening the store, and she's getting help from people around the world. You can visit her website at www.thefourthjaguar.com. Thank you.
I would use the 200 postcards for my non-profit Art Show coming up in a month.
I am an unpaid design intern at Intersection for the Arts, one of the oldest and most vital cultural centers in the West Coast In September, we're doing a show titled, "The language of Anxiety", the second annual group exhibition by past and current participants of Intersection’s renowned Arts Leadership Intern Program. The Language of Anxiety reflects our efforts to articulate and examine how we deal with environmental and personal tension by exploring how we artistically define, react, and respond to rising personal and social anxieties, serving as a timely response to the uncertainty surrounding the current economic downturn, the ongoing wars, the depletion of natural resources, and the change in presidency. The show provides a space for us to experience art event planning by curating and organizing a cohesive gallery exhibit and organize community workshops that relate directly to the theme of the exhibition. However, we don't have any funding and it would be GREAT to have our event postcards printed for free. Thanks for considering us!
I would use my postcards to promote my upcoming website, TeachMeAnything.info. This website is devoted to teaching you whatever you want to know.
You send me a short video or email requesting info on how to do something and I'll post a short video back explaining exactly that.
Examples of some of the first posts will include:
1. How to Survive Being Set on Fire
2. How to Survive Falling from a 3 Story Building
3. How to Moonwalk
4. How to Knock Out an Attacker
5. How to Achieve Internet Fame
In appreciation of winning, I will definitely answer your question first!
I would use the cards for my blog, Sugar Rock Catwalk. When we can, we do some style stalking and it would be so helpful to have some cards with our ridiculously long URL to leave behind.
Love you, Guata!
I would put my face on them and then send them to 200 random addresses across the country.
I would use them to promote an upcoming film I will be producing for my thesis.
I would love to get the printings because I am opening my first fashion boutique in Orange and it would be awesome to get the prize!
Thank you for participating in our giveaway! We truly appreciate the support.
